Today's Living Hope

What are the Pastors to do? Bible Study Info And Operation Exodus

Episode Summary

Father Art Ward from St. Barts Anglican Church will be Linda's guest at 1 PM, Saturday on Today's Living Hope radio as they talk about looking at ways the Church of Jesus Christ can come together as a united voice, particular as it relates to the sanctity of life in the womb. In other words, how can we affirm that life begins at conception and that every human being at conception is made in the image of God? Not only is this the fundamental reality affirmed in God's Word but it then translates into every facet of life. So the Church's responsibility is not only a teaching one by affirming this principle in our worship, preaching, and ministries but it is also a "reaching" one in that we are called to defend life in the context of everyday life in all the facets of society. Therefore, as a Church we are called to work for the integrity and well-being of families and the protection of every child both within the church family and without. This then, will include getting involved in the legal, political, educational, and medical fields. For if a nation does not value the life of a child in the womb, this inevitably will skew how we look at all aspects of life. There is a terrible "trickle-down" effect. Linda will share about the upcoming Fall Bible Studies @ Benders. Linda welcomes David Cummings of Operation Exodus/Canada as he shares How God Brought Him to Operation Exodus/Canada and then to be involved with the US Operation Exodus Ministries. God is definitely up to something with these two united organizations.
